- SSSCNov 27, 20251.0My French bulldog passed away after going to your groomer! My dog, Fresh, was perfectly fine and in great health and had been to the vet 2 days before and perfectly healthy. He was dropped off st Petco the morning of Wednesday 11/26/25. About an hour later the groomer called my mother to say Fresh vomited and needed to picked up and that his gums were pale. My mom was not given any information on what happened or why he suddenly became so ill. Petco had to have known something was seriously wrong with Fresh and it sounds like they just dumped him on my mom to avoid responsibility. There’s a veterinarian in the Petco so he should’ve at least been seen by the doctor and examined if they felt he was too sick to finish his grooming session. Fresh later stopped breathing and we rushed him to a vet ER and he was officially declared dead. I spoke to the grooming department manager named Daniela. This is ridiculous because my dog was perfectly fine before he was dropped off at Petco for grooming.
