    I love Banfield hospital… the only downside is the vet in charge of the hospital near my house. She is a nightmare, but, i can use my dog’s wellness plan in any other Banfield hospital location 🙏🏻…. so, thats what I do.

    Of all the locations that Banfield has, the one in Pembroke pines that is next to PetSmart is THE WORST. We arrived at 5:20 because my dog had one eye with conjunctivitis and wanted the vet to see him, the girl at the front desk told me that they could not attend to us because they closed in 40 minutes... Imagine that they don't want to attend to your dog just because they close in 40 minutes? What kind of ethics do those who work in that location have? I arrived before they closed! They MUST see my dog, not say that you are going to close soon. I work from 5 am to 4:30 pm that is the ONLY time I can arrange to take my dog and they just don't care; it is always a problem for them to serve you in that location even if we pay membership , it's just not worth it. DON’T GO TO THIS LOCATION EVER!!

    I was a bit hesitant to bring my dog to any vet, but Banfield is not just a vet office, it’s family. The staff was super welcoming and Hulk was taken care of. I loved the personalized bag that we received when I picked him up - SO CUTE! Thank you!

    Every time I bring my Yorkie, Luna to Banfield, they treat her like royalty, especially the girls at the front Claudia and Lexi, they are amazing with the moms and dads and try to make their wait much better. Vets and nurses are good as well. The only thing I have issues is with the costs even while having good plan. But again kudos to the girls Lexi and Claudia!

    I had a very frustrating experience with Banfield. I scheduled a new visit appointment online several days in advance and received confirmation for the time I selected. On the day of my appointment, I received no phone call, text, or email indicating there was any issue or need to reschedule. When I arrived at the clinic for my 5:30pm appointment (I arrived at 5:10pm) I was told that my appointment was “too late” and that I could not be seen. This was incredibly frustrating and a complete waste of my time. What made the situation even worse was the explanation I got from the front desk Associate—that corporate allows customers to book appointments, but they themselves at the clinic do not necessarily honor those and cancel them — are they serious? That makes absolutely no sense and actually makes the situation worse! If appointments can be booked, they should be valid and respected. That is completely unacceptable. It’s insane actually. This reflects a serious breakdown in communication and organization. Customers should never be put in a position where they show up for a confirmed appointment only to be turned away at the door with no prior notice. I expected professionalism and respect for my time, and unfortunately, this experience fell far below that standard. I hope Banfield addresses this issue so others don’t have to deal with the same frustration. -5 out of 5 stars.
