Upon attempting to check out, I set my puppy down briefly, as there were no available carts to place either my puppy or my items in. At that point, an associate informed me that all dogs must be on a leash. I explained that this was the reason for my visit. Shortly thereafter, another associate expressed concern that my puppy, not yet vaccinated, should not be placed on the floor. While I understand and appreciate the concern, the situation was challenging as I was attempting to manage two children, carry a puppy, and complete my purchase simultaneously. I felt that, rather than receiving assistance or a courteous suggestion—such as using a cart or providing temporary help—the response was more of a lecture. A small act of support from your staff would have been greatly appreciated in managing this difficult situation. Unfortunately, this visit marked the second most challenging experience I have had at your store.
