Went with my kitten for a wellness check and they said that since I was worried about vomiting, a wellness check wouldn’t do anything and they didn’t have time to help me with anything else. I tried to see if they could help me squeezing me somewhere but they refused. What I think it’s funny is that they could spend 30+ minutes doing nothing while telling me no (the doctor) and why I shouldn’t do a wellness check but couldn’t use all that time to actually take care of my kitten who had been throwing up. Meanwhile at the verge of tears feeling like my cat was going to die, I had to make an appointment for the 22nd instead (about 5 days after). When I went that day, they did x rays (IT TOOK LIKE 10 MINUTES) and told me what was happening with her stomach. But they didn’t have time the other day to do that? BS. Thank God my baby is super strong; she could’ve died because of me waiting just because they didn’t want to help me. What ended up happening? Surgery at an ER vet and $5,000 after, my baby is okay. Thank you so much! I’m so glad now I have to waste my money on the petco total care membership when I don’t want to be in that place ever again in my life, since you can’t just cancel it. The only person that cared about my kitten was the guy nurse at 4:15 on 12/22 (I hope I remembered his name) and to him: thank you for telling me where to go and to go ASAP. Your advice probably saved my cat’s life and I’ll always remember it.

I chose Vetco as I've been using its services for many years. I found the pricing to be reasonable & came for routine care. This last visit was different. Over the phone, I was given one expectation in order to get my dog antibiotics. When I came in, I found the staff to be pushy & aggressive on selling a list of overpriced bloodwork packages which weren't necessarily needed. I continued to follow through setting expectations that I'd like to start with a urinalysis & antibiotics as the diagnosis at the time was a UTI. I have since received a follow-up call to which I stated that the visual issue had cleared up, I'd finish the antibiotics as prescribed. I continue to get more phone calls which honestly feel like a sales call attempt to spend more when I already reported that my dog was doing better. The minimum amount presented was $260.79 for exam, urinalysis & meds -- but could've turned into in excess of $1K. I DO NOT plan to return to this location if this is the type if behavior I am to expect & will look elsewhere for any further care needs.

We took our cat in for his first check up and everything went very smooth. Liz the nurse who seen us was GREAT very communicative and patient. Dr Ortiz was very quick and swift with the job.

Okay experience, not much transparency on the medication being prescribed. I simply wanted heartguard and was given a much more expensive medication with potential for additional side effects that was not communicated to me. I have an elderly dog who is very sensitive. If you can help it go to a mobile vaccination clinic or smaller vet. I will be avoiding this vet in the future

I don’t feel as though the staff took my concern seriously at all, nor did they take the time to review any of the information I provided during the visit. The solutions presented (such as giving my cat wet food) were completely irrelevant (she’s already on a wet food diet) and I don’t feel as though my concern has been addressed. Now I have to find another vet that might take my cats health seriously.
