CaliGold and I she needs a monthly injection for anxiety and we stop by every month and her teams come out and do it in our car. It actually has transformed our lives and my dog is living longer and happier because of it thank you to everyone at Metro West Veterinary!!!

The vet tech was holding my franchise by his neck hard enough my frenchies eyes were closing, drooling and boarder-line passing out. When I asked if he’s putting pressure on his neck, he then released and acted as if he didn’t. His right eye also had a bulge due to the pressure from the neck. Since then: My frenchie was throwing up, unable to breathe, with a goose honking noise and eventually was laying on the ground trying to breathe 10-15 minutes upon leaving vet. He now has severe sleep apnea where he stops breathing numerous times for over a minute. Fighting to catch his breath. None of these symptoms were prevalent prior to this incident with the vet tech. I have contacted the vet to email me the footage of the day since there is a large camera right there. It’s been close to 2 weeks without a response.

Our dog started having major issues and our current vet could not work us in for 10 days so they sent us to the pricey emergency vet who said our dog needed her spleen removed and to call our regular vet because it would be around $8,000 to $10,000 cheaper with them. So we tried and it took them several hours to even get back to us. By that time we were already sitting in the lobby waiting for our appointment at Metro West because they were willing to see us! Thankfully they were able to get the surgery done before her spleen ruptured and they no doubt saved our dog's life! We are so grateful they worked us in and we will be making the journey to them for all our pet care needs.
- RRR RidayDec 22, 20255.0This vet is amazing!! Dr. Collins is a great vet, he explains everything, funny, gave options, and helps make informed decisions about your pet care. The previous vet I took my dog to was to scared and always sedated and muzled her. He made her feel confortable and she had no issues. She just likes to bark alot. :) And the vet assistance and office staff and kind, understanding and helpful. I would recomend this vet to anyone.
