Took my two cats for checkups and shots. Usually they are freaked out going to the vet, but they were very mellow on the ride home. Very friendly staff.

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH BANFIELD. I had just adopted a cat earlier this year that loves being outside. Unfortunately having an outdoor cat is risky for their wellbeing, I found out the hard way after it was run over. Despite the fact that my cat had passed away, Banfield made sure to charge me for the rest of the year with their optimum wellness plan to service my deceased pet! Thanks so much for stealing my money!

Banfield has my dogs plan on autopay and one month I locked my card for security purposes and forgot to turn it back on and they charged me a NSF fee. They don't know NSF is for when a check bounces and does not apply in this case. Anyone else, like the gym, aquatica or Netflix will just re-run the card in a few days and get their money but Banfield seems to look at a mistake as profit. Also, my dog had an appointment for today but we forgot the date. My wife kept calling and asking for someone in Spanish and they would put her on hold and never come back to the line and the call would end up automatically disconnect. Poor service.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
