    Very disappointed with the management at this Petco location and with Petco in general. I received several Petco gift cards over the holidays and went to use them through the Petco app to purchase my dog’s food. First issue, you can’t use multiple gift cards through the app. My dog’s food is $80 and each gift card was worth $50. Apparently Petco hasn’t figured out the rocket science that is letting customers use multiple gift cards for a purchase in the app even though basically every other company has figured this out. Second issue is that when I went to pay, the app couldn’t even understand how to recalculate the total now that I had applied the gift card. So it kept trying to charge me $80 and then failing to complete the transaction because the total amount owed was no longer $80. Third issue is that the whole reason I even order on the app is to get the 10% off offer for buy on the app and pick up in store. So I can’t complete my purchase on the app because of issue 2 so I go to the store and tell them what’s going on. A manager comes over, tells me the app isn’t their problem and that there’s nothing they can do for me and I should call corporate. Like really? You can’t honor the 10% off discount? I call corporate while I’m in the store and it puts me on hold for 10 minutes and I decide I’m done with this. I did end up calling later when I had time to wait and got connected to someone clearly not in the country who I doubt actually did anything about these issues. They were supposed to email me a claim number but haven’t received anything and it’s been two weeks. Very disappointed no one did anything to honor or makeup for the discount I should have received. It would have been a very easy way to keep a customer but I’ll be shopping elsewhere for my dog’s food after I finish using up my gift cards. Terrible customer service.

    I try to only go here out of desperation. It is very convenient and they have a huge inventory. However prices are excessive ( especially since most of these are from china)

    I love my dog "Q's " groomer , Bonnie in the Sanford Petco. All of the associates at the grooming department and the store are wonderful. They truly care. I would recommend them. I was recommended by another friend who uses Bonnie. My girl is so comfortable with the treatments she gets.

    There great just wished there was a easier process for live mice, like pre-ordering because having to wait for someone to grab can be a bit time consuming when busy

    Ran out of my cat's special dietary food prescribed by the vet for his urinary condition, so I stopped by this Petco location on Christmas Eve a few minutes before close. Normally I order his food online through Chewy, but I have his prescription information from his doctor, rx id # and all. A rude manager by the name of Natalia refused to sell me the food that my cat NEEDS. She wouldn't even look at the prescription, talking about they need to validate it. They need to validate it. Until I ultimately asked who's they, and she said their vet who wasn't even there. Absolutely ridiculous and an utter absurdity, I'll never come back here willingly in my life. Natalia is an utter embarrassment to this company.
