We have been going there for over a year and it has been the absolute best groomer we have had. And I actually feel like Chelsey, the dogs groomer there, loves our dogs and they always look perfect when they are done. Today when I went to pick our dogs up Chelsey had a Christmas card waiting for us since we won’t be back again till after the holidays. Inside she included this adorable rendering of our dogs!! It’s such a small thing put honestly was just one more reason to add to how much we really like the service there. Petco you have an absolute superstar in Chelsey. She has made us loyal Petco grooming customers.

I recently moved and was excited to find a Petco near my new home so that my dog could continue receiving the same grooming services he has always enjoyed. Unfortunately, my recent experience has been very disappointing. As usual, I booked my grooming appointment online. Although the appointment was initially confirmed, I later received a text stating there was no availability and that additional information was needed in order to try to fit him in. I promptly provided all requested information. However, I was then quoted nearly $100 for the same grooming service my dog has consistently received for the last three years at a cost of approximately $65. While I understand pricing may vary from state to state, this is the same company with access to my dog’s grooming history and previous service pricing. I was told the price increase was due to my dog having “long hair,” but he is a Jack Russell with short hair, and this has never been an issue in the past. I am very disappointed by the sudden price increase and what feels like misleading pricing (advertising a grooming service for $65 and then quoting nearly $30 more for the same service I have been receiving for years). I truly hope Petco will address these inconsistencies, as this experience does not reflect the level of service I have experienced from past locations.
