I’m sharing this experience so other pet owners — especially those with senior dogs — can make informed decisions. I brought my 15-year-old dog in for a dental procedure. At intake, I clearly communicated her age and that she is under the care of a veterinary ophthalmologist for an active eye issue, and I asked that extra care be taken. Despite her age and medical history, I never met the veterinarian at drop-off or pick-up. About two hours after drop-off, the veterinarian called and questioned why I would pursue dental work at my dog’s age, stating that she does not recommend putting a dog of that age under anesthesia unless it is absolutely necessary. Once that risk was explained, I declined the dental procedure. I was then informed that in-house bloodwork had already been performed and that my dog’s kidney markers were elevated, possibly indicating early (Stage 1) kidney disease. The veterinarian stated she was not certain and said additional bloodwork would be sent out at no charge to confirm, and that she would call me to discuss the results. I was charged approximately $200 for the in-house bloodwork, which had been performed to clear my dog for anesthesia — for a procedure the veterinarian did not recommend and that I declined once the risks were explained. Had this discussion occurred before the appointment, I would not have brought my dog in for dental work or consented to pre-anesthetic testing. The promised follow-up call to review the additional lab results never occurred, and to this day I still do not know whether my dog actually has a kidney condition. When I contacted the office to explain why I felt the charge was unfair and requested a refund so I could pursue follow-up care elsewhere, the office manager became defensive, raised her voice, and told me I was being disrespectful. I was informed I should find another veterinary clinic, and no refund was offered. I was emotional during this conversation — my elderly dog’s health was involved — but I did not curse or berate staff. I was asking for clear communication, informed consent before testing, and follow-through on promised results. I understand how busy veterinary practices are and appreciate the care professionals provide. However, informed consent before diagnostics, transparency around recommendations, and professional handling of client concerns are essential, especially when dealing with senior pets and anesthesia risks. I hope this feedback helps other pet owners ask the right questions in advance and encourages improved communication for future clients.

I did not want to write this review because I try to overlook things most of the time. However, this cannot be ignored. I took my cat to your facility to have her claws clipped. And, I explained to the front desk that her sharp claws cause bleeding sometimes when she reaches for me and my husband. A few days later, she reached for my husband and cut him so badly with one of her claws that I thought I was going to have an emergency situation to deal with. I was able to bandage him up well enough. But, I am very disappointed that you did not trim her claws like I asked. I asked for her claws to be trimmed short as would be expected in a case like this. I cannot ever use your trimming service again. This is not the first time I have had this issue. I am disappointed.

Friday 11/28/2025 my cat(son) Taco was meowing weird and he was struggling to urinate. I made an appointment online for 9 am. I brought him in there in tears begging them to help my baby. Cheyenne(The tall one) was an absolute angel, she helped us come up with a solution for payment and all. My baby needed surgery for a urinary blockage and they took him to the back and started pre op right away. Everyone there has such empathy and a big heart for everyone that walks through that door human or animal. I highly recommend this vet, if you want someone to love your baby and find a solution for their health this is definitely the right place. They are definitely my new vet. Also Cheyenne told my baby how much I loved him and missed him the night away from me. I couldn't be happier.
