I asked if she could be groomed first so I could take her home right after. I was told there would be a $20 VIP fee, but she would still be placed in a cage, and I could be charged for a second bath if she had an anxiety-related accident—despite disclosing her condition in advance. At the time, there were no other pets being groomed, yet no accommodation was offered. I should also mention my dogs are short haired hounds so there would be very little if any grooming that would need or be done. Other Petco locations in Virginia offer cage alternatives, so this was disappointing. I declined service for one dog and will not be returning.
