  If I could rate 0 stars I would Sunday night I went too petco to get a fish the man who grabbed the fish for me slammed the fish down on the table in the net.As I was taking the fish home I noticed it was laying down on its side and barley moving,and as soon as I walked thru the door of my house the fish was dead.I went back up to petco as they were fixing to close and the manager apologized and gave me another fish that fish lasted less than 12 hours and it passed away as well.Something is wrong with the fish there.I have other fish from different places and their perfectly fine.Please do better Petco and take better care of your pets.

  DESASTRE!! I genuinely don’t know if this was a grooming appointment or a surprise shearing. We brought our labradoodle in with very clear instructions: keep him even, do NOT go short, and do NOT touch his tail or ears. My husband repeated this multiple times. Somehow, every single request was ignored with impressive consistency. We picked up a completely different dog. Uneven coat, butchered paws, tail and ears still cut, and shaved down far shorter than agreed. It looks rushed and careless—like they ran out of time, patience, or both. To make it better, they charged us upfront without even assessing the dog first, which now feels… intentional. At pickup, staff were casually discussing how a dog had swallowed a pen, but couldn’t confirm which dog it was—even after I asked. Because nothing says “professional” like a mystery ingestion situation with zero clarity. When I raised concerns, Yolanda became argumentative and insisted my husband “never said anything,” then pivoted to blaming “matting.” If that were true, a professional would explain options and costs—not ignore instructions and freestyle a haircut no one asked for. This isn’t just a bad haircut—it’s poor communication, worse execution, and zero accountability. If you’re looking for a groomer who listens to you, this is not the place. If you’re open to surprises… you’ll definitely get one.

  Prices are extremely high compared with others Pet stores in the area. Sorry but I would never stop there again.

  Janeth was pretty rude when I asked her about this she just said it’s for whole hearted and walked away when nothing in that aisle was whole hearted lucky another team member was nice enough to help and remove the sign that was in the wrong aisle

  We enrolled our three pups in Petco’s training classes with Janeth in Cutler Bay, and she was absolutely incredible! She is the primary reason we stuck with the courses and why our dogs are so well-behaved today. While Petco offers some fantastic 'Black Friday' deals on training, it was Janeth’s expertise as their trainer that made this a five-star experience. I highly recommend her classes to any dog owner in the area looking to see real results!
