This morning I came to pick up my dog’s medication; single dose of Simperica and a single dose of Interceptor. I have been coming to this location for a few years and all the staff has been pleasant until today. CSR Paulina’s tone to greet very harshly. This is not the first time I have encountered her with the same tone. She asked if I have called beforehand for the medication and told me to have a seat that it will take awhile. I was there for a good 10 mins until I saw another CSR asking if I was attended and she said yes. Paulina voice projects in the lobby so when I’ve asked her I how long it will be she said other nurses are working on patients that I have to wait. As I used to work in Banfield 6 years ago, I am familiar with the protocol as a CSR. I have told her that is a single dose of each medication, it’s only creating the labels and put them in capsules or baggies. She said that the protocol changed and I need to wait. I have asked if I could be charged she dismissed me to go to the other CSR. The other CSR was more calmer and already knew me from her time being there. She checked me out and went to the back to get the dosage for my dog (less than 2 mins). I was taught as long as you have someone at the front, the CSR is able to print out the labels and provide the medication. I was also taught to have fluff as the CSR as you are attending patients. Paulina may be vet tech in the back but she should not be in the front at all. She has zero pleasantries when it comes to customer service. When I have left her tone and voice projected to say bye have a nice day and it sounded more rude than intentional. This is after asking the other CSR who is the PM and who is the RM and asked what was the person next to her name. I understand protocol changes but if the vet tech are busy and there’s two people in the front and it’s not busy in the front, what cost for Paulina to go to the back and do the same that the other CSR did? I have posted 3 stars for this location only for Paulina’s tone and attitude. She may not like the front and wants to go to the back she is actively trying to get fired. I love the location for the doctors and the other staff, but Paulina needs to be corrected by to the PM of her tone and attitude.

So far I am very happy with the attention my little baby has received. Dr Figueroa, Dr Lopez and staff are amazing. If it would be good if company evaluated those who pay monthly , receive better discounts on medications or procedures.
