For an area that is overrun with stray cats, Murphy Vet Hospital is a HUGE blessing. They spayed two cats that we found outside and got them taken care of for a really great rate whereas other local vets charged an arm and leg just to get pets fixed.
TOTALLY SATISFIED.

The folks at Murphy Veterinary Hospital were very kind to us. They saved my seriously ill cat’s life when my own vet and another one in Navarre wouldn’t see her. What we thought was a simple abscess that could be lanced and cleaned ended up requiring a large incision, cleansing, debridement, and a drain. They took wonderful care of my cat and even called the next morning to see how she was doing. I had two follow up visits after that, and the staff were phenomenal. They treated my cat like one of their own. These are the old-fashioned, real kind of veterinarians.

This place is a lifesaver to me.
Previously, I had taken my cats to another vet hospital until one of my older cats had lost her meow. I thought it might be laryngitis. Took my cat in. It was examined along with some tests. Couldn't find anything wrong and was not even prescribed any form of benign meds to be on the safe side. By the second visit for this, the cat was worse. Could not hear her meow at all. Exam, tests, xray over $500. No meds. Again couldn't find anything wrong. My cat got even worse. It had a heaving chest and wheezing for crying out loud!!! I Had to help end the cats pain. I still feel the pain. This place used to be a lot better before it became corporate.
Had another 2 cats come down with the same thing. Starting not to be able to meow. Brought them to Murphy's. I was nervous on how this was going to go. Was I and my cat going to get the same indifferent treatment again?
Well...Murphy's has a wonderful staff. Very sweet receptionists, techs and doctors. Both cats were examined and although nothing obvious could be detected they were given a shot of prednisone and antibiotic. No unnecessary tests. THEY GOT BETTER!!!! Relief and joy!
Very smart and intuitive doctors here.
They are not corporate.
And bonus...great donut shop right next door. I enjoy bringing the vet office donuts every time I go.

Dr Beckham and his crew are absolutely amazing. When they say they treat your pet like their own they truly do. They have been phenomenal to my Eva. Took her in on a Thursday and found out her spleen was enlarged and that it needed to be removed. Dr Beckham was able to get her back in on Friday to do the surgery to remove it. Considering this was very unexpected Dr Beckham was understanding about my financial situation and worked with me. I can't thank him enough for saving my baby. Yall are absolutely the best!!! Thank you guys so much. I ABSOLUTELY recommend taking your fur baby to them.
