Led by Board-Certified Theriogenologist (reproductive specialist) Dr. Carla Barstow, our compassionate and experienced team looks forward to serving you and your pets for any needs you may have. Highland Pet Hospital was founded more than 30 years ago by Dr. Beverly Brimacomb. We're proud to carry on Dr. Brimacomb's legacy of providing outstanding care in both general practice and reproductive services across Polk County FL, Lakeland FL, Bartow FL, Winter Haven FL.

Spent over $1000 and got maybe 2 sentences out of the vet...pathetic. Found a better vet twice as far away, but worth it.

We’ve trusted them with our two Golden Retrievers ( 6 years old and 1) and they’ve been nothing short of amazing. When we had a litter of puppies, they guided us every step of the way and always answered my questions when I called, and now our two little ones are growing up under their watchful, care. What sets this office apart is not just their knowledge and professionalism, but the way they make you feel safe and supported. Their pricing is fair, but the peace of mind they give us is priceless. We leave every appointment knowing our dogs are in the best hands possible. If you’re looking for a veterinary team that blends expertise with heart, this is the place. They’ve become an extension of our family, and I can’t imagine trusting anyone else with our Goldens!

Dr. Barstow is extremely personable and answers any and all questions with ease. I’d recommend coming here for your regular checks ups, but especially for all of your reproductive health needs for your animals.
