It’s not just a Petco issue, all these stores do it - they prey on you this way. ALWAYS CHECK THE WEBSITE FOR PRICE FIRST, they have to honor it! I experienced this buy in an advantage products t - shelf price was $36, but the website was $19.99. if you bring the online price to the register they will honor it, but they won’t educate you about this proactively. very sneaky way to make you pay more for no reason. Be a smart shopper and beat them at their own game.
