Paid thousands and thousands of dollars for radiographs to be sent to OFA for a dog. I set up an appt, called to book it and told them what I needed done. They said great we can do it on this day. I show up, and they say “oh no the doctor isn’t here so we can’t do it today” wasted an hour drive and money on that. So they book a new appointment for radiograghs. I show up to the appointment, and they had scheduled a dental….. i said I requested hip and elbow radiograghs not a dental. They looked shocked but decided they can do the radiographs. At pick up dog came back with a dental and improper hip x rays. No elbow x rays as requested. The hip x rays showed me that the doctor doesn’t know how to
Properly radiogragh. Anyway I decided to try and get them submitted to OFA anyway…. Asked for the doctor to do it on Dec 16th…. He didn’t “submit them” till the end of March…. Convinced he didn’t submit them because he knows I paid thousands of dollars for inaccurate x rays. And OFA will reject them. Have emailed them twice about this asking for proof of submission… and they have ghosted me. I will be reporting this hospital.
In human world this would be a suit for malpractice.

This is the absolute worse banfield location I’ve ever been to. We used to take our two golden doodles here but they were so rude and made fun of our pets for being anxious and seemed very annoyed with them on multiple occasions when picking up. We switched to Davenport which is great but brought back one of our dogs for a last minute vaccine apt since our location was booked and she needed to be boarded right before our wedding. The receptionist, Ashley, told me to come in at 3:30 and once I arrived told me I was late and the apt was at 3. The doctor, Lenna Alvarez, and tech both refused to see us even knowing the circumstances and everyone was just sitting around. This was extremely rude and unprofessional. They have no empathy and poor customer service.

As soon as we walked in, the receptionist was very friendly. After the receptionist checked us in, we went to our waiting room and we were very pleased by Dr. Nancy’s character. She was very loving, caring and sweet. We had a great experience because of Dr. Nancy!

Years ago my pup had a traumatic experience with a nail trim bleeding for hours after.
I went to Banfield pet hospital and they took him back, quickky trimmed his nails, he came out happy.
I moved all my records there. I have purchased expensive medication for fleas, heartworms, and lab work.
On my last two visits they were unable to trim his nails. A note was on my chart chart crediting a free nail trim plus they charged me $30 for anxiety medicine for the next visit.
We started walking more on concrete and pavement and he has not needed a nail trim until now.
I called to put my free nail trim and they refused. They wanted money for an office visit on top of the nail trim and I believe it was an additional $50.
I asked for a refund my money, about $60. Denied.
I spoke with the manager, Allen Avila. I told him I understood he could not put the anxiety medicine back on a shelf, but it is of no use to me if he's not going to honor the nail trim. He was unconcerned
I'm a senior citizen with very limited income. It was Allen Avila that promised the pedicure previously.
I do not recommend dealing with this Banfield Pet Hospital on Osceola Parkway. They were not honest in their dealings with me and had no compassion for my situation.

Don’t waste your time.
THREE TIMES I’ve made appointments and they call the day before to say they can’t do it and to call to they can’t accommodate it and to call to reschedule.
I called they put me on a 20 hold.
I called by 20+x and they kept sending the call to voicemail.
The woman who answered the phone the one and only time had a nasty attitude.
Can’t evaluate their services because they apparently don’t serve anyone.

Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
