I just have to say the Vet tech Olivia was seriously the best person ever. My dog has a hematoma in his ear and I was very concerned and she was so sweet and caring and gave me a lot of good information. I had a bad experience at the Petco in Durban and then we came to this location and saw Dr. Miller and she is so educated and helped us so much. We were originally told our dog was going to have to have surgery from the other vet and now thanks to Dr. Miller. We didn’t have to get surgery at all and his ear healed.

My fiancé and I had gone to this vetco a few months ago regarding our cats luxated hock joint. We had previously went to a VCA to get the procedure done, and VCA mentioned our cat would need regular cast changes, but each change was pricy. We shopped around to other vet clinics cause we were desperate about getting our cat’s leg healed properly. Finally, we chose vetco and they gladly helped us for a few cast changes.
After a few weeks of weekly cast changes, one of the main doctors at this practice told us that our cats foot wasn’t healing properly and we might want to consider taking her to an orthopedic specialist to get her leg amputated. We were confused because up until then, it had only been about 2 weeks since her injury, so we knew that she wasn’t gonna be magically healed in just 2 weeks after we were given the timeline of 6 weeks from VCA. The doctor at that vetco said amputations can cost over thousands of dollars, which is what we absolutely don’t have. So they basically left us high and dry and even gave us an ultimatum saying her cast won’t last 5 days, and we would need to book an appointment with the specialist in that 5 day window.
So my fiancé and I took matters into our own hands, and decided to heal our cat on our own since vetco abandoned us. We took the cast that they said would only last for 5 days off after a few weeks (we are aware that wasn’t a good idea, but we had no choice) We invested in a hock brace for her foot and fed her supplements for joint support and for her immunity as well.
After a few weeks of intense physical therapy, our cat is officially off of the hock brace and is walking, running, and jumping like any normal cat. She is experiencing no discomfort whatsoever, and is happier than ever, as we are too.
Long story short, Vetco, please don’t give up on your patients like that. You might think me and my fiancé know nothing because we aren’t licensed veterinarians, but we at least know one thing better than you.. We would NEVER give up on our pet. Therefore, you should NEVER give up on your patients!

I just wanted to give a quick shoutout to the team at Atlantic! Every time I come, I have an amazing experience. Kelsey is super helpful and professional. Considering she is the first and last interaction we will have, she takes pride in providing excellent customer service that makes it easy to keep coming back. There's another front desk rep who is very personable, professional, and all around amazing. Olivia, you are the best! You're very knowledgeable about your job and I couldn't thank you more!! You always take time to play with my babies, and it means the world to them and me. Thank you both for the awesome job that you do and for showing up for your customers every day! In the famous words of Chase and Sky "Ruff ruff" lol.
