If I could give zero stars I would. Just go out of business immediately. Front desk is fine. I was never introduced to a doctor. This place frustrated the hell out of me. I was only met by a guy that’s scared of dogs but at least he was polite. How do you have a job with dogs and animals and you’re scared to approach my dog that wasn’t showing any aggression he made it very awkward. When I asked him is he scared of dogs his response was “I don’t know him like that” as if you know any dog that comes there. I’ve never had such a bad experience. They don’t let you go back with the dog so of course your baby is gonna be scared. Overall it was terrible I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here if you’re looking for answers. I’ve never been to a place and can’t even speak directly to a doctor. Waste of time literally.

I've been on a Wellness Plan Contract with Banfield Animal Hospital for 2 years for my dog, which I pay $78.00 a month for. There have been many, many issues wit their Collins Rd location over that time. The latest issue is that their most recent vet refused to refill the prescription for my dog's food, the food he's been on for 2 years, the ONLY food he will eat. The vet that he usually sees there has no problem with this, but he has been on vacation for a month now and won't be back for almost another month. This new vet has decided that she will not give my dog his food whether he refuses to eat or not. The very rude, unprofessional receptionist told me to figure out another way to feed him then. They did not care that he had been out of food for days because of them and now he won't eat at all without this food. They had no concern for that. Like I said before, this is just 1 of many things they have done like this over the past 2 years to my dog. I called back later to find out what this vet suggested I do since my dog is starving now. The receptionist didn't like that I was questioning the vet's decision and asking questions so she proceeded to yell at me, talk over me, she called me rude, condescending, and then said that me and my nasty family have been a problem for 2 years and then hung up on me. They've never even met my family! I was appalled by the way I was spoken too. I decided to look at some of Banfield's reviews to see if anyone else had experienced this type of treatment and I was shocked to say the least. Their reviews are HORRIBLE! Not just the location I go too, but all over the country. I read about multiple lawsuits about people's pets being killed or seriously injured due to negligence and malpractice. I also saw a class action lawsuit in WA against them due to their shady Wellness Plans. I do not understand how a company who has done so many terrible things to people and pets is still allowed to practice medicine and be open. The staff at this location are rude and unprofessional, treating you like you're the problem, talking down to you, yelling at you, and just treating you and your pet terribly. This shouldn't be allowed to continue. Does Banfield even care about these pets and their owners AT ALL or is just getting us all on Wellness Plans, taking our money, and treating us horribly their end goal? PLEASE, WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT TAKE YOUR FUR BABIES TO BANFIELD, ESPECIALLY NOT THE COLLINS RD LOCATION!

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
