This facility does not respect your appointments or time. I scheduled my cat to get her vaccines a week ahead of time. When we got there they waited until 15 minutes after i showed up to tell me i would have to leave my cat there and come back another time. I’m not going to leave my cat in a crate for an unspecified amount of time because you can’t plan.

Banfield has drastically changed since I first went. I went yesterday because my dog was sick. I booked an appointment online at 12:30 in room because my dog is very timid and doesn’t like crates. I got a call that there was an in room at 9:30, great. I got there and waited 40 minutes to be seen in room. Then was told they were too backed up and would hold my dog for 2 hours. I said okay, I will wait as I needed to go to work after. 2.5 hours passed and the doctor called me. I asked when I could pick my dog up and I was advised that since we ran into lunch time it would be another 2 hours. I could pick her up at 2. At this point I had to go to work. I called and let them know they would just have to hold her. I picked up my dog and although sweet, I was given misinformation about what to give my dog medication wise. When I got home I noticed that it was very different and we had to call to confirm. Then on top of that, I noticed that the medication count is wrong, and this isn’t the first time. I just really wish in room appointments meant in room and if you don’t have the time to service my dog at the time don’t call people in early. I could’ve at this point did a drop off and not missed any work. Poor communication. I am on the wellness plan and don’t think I will renew next year, doesn’t feel like I’m saving much when I talk to other people about what they pay at the vet.

I enjoy banfield and it’s a great place I’ve taken my dogs to get vaccines and treat them whenever I’ve had issues with them coughing. Overall, the employees are great, however I had a couple of negative interactions with Chi Chi. She had a bad attitude over the phone and wasn’t any different in person. Nevertheless, id definitely come back if the atmosphere was more positive.
