Do NOT GO HERE. I've had cats for 30 years and moved with the military numerous times and seen a different vet every time I moved. I have fired Banfield now for the 3rd time. It's complete chaos everybody's understaffed and underpaid and they charge four times what a normal vet does. They tried to sell you on the plans but my problem lies with the customer service and the vet experience. You no longer even see a vet, the tech goes back and forth.
My last straw was this last visit in desperation on a weekend on a holiday I had a stray that had a terrible ear and bladder infection. They ended up giving a prescription for dogs that said 4-pack. As soon as I gave the first pill the cat had a horrible night with psychotic behavior. I looked and the package says .25 of a pill. Apparently they had only given me one pill but never explained it. I called back to get a refill after the kitty had recovered 5 days later because they were closed on Sunday and Monday... Only to be told the cat was seen by a fill-in locum vet, and would need to be seen by that vet on staff in order to get the refill. They proceeded to tell me that unless you see the same vet that is their policy every time if you need a refill of any kind..... So this is just a racket to get more money don't think you're in a Veterinary "Group".
But to overdose my cat and not take responsibility for it 100% deal-breaker. Refusing to see the clients another one. The limited availability of the vets and having to see a new one every time is a scam!!!

Banfield pet hospital does not put your pets care first. They do all of their care based completely around money. 8 months ago I brought my healthy cat in for a routine rabies shot, they talked me into putting him on the wellness plan Soon after they told me he needed to get the feline temper vaccine, exactly one week later sadly my sweet cat that I had for 15 years passed away. During that week,I brought him in a couple times. Everytime paying more money, with no real answers from them. And even though my cat passed away one week after getting the wellness plan,I have still had to pay every month for it. Just awful. Took my other cat in today(because she is still on her wellness plan)left there with no real answers. Dr Ashley just talked round and round with no real guidance, and then said if it were her cat she would spend the $700 to get the testing done to rule out certain things. They only see these animals as dollar signs for procedures and diagnosis. When these are our family members. Please consider taking your pets elsewhere. And if you chose to bring your pets here, don't get on the wellness plan,it's a scam.

We have always had good vets when we need to bring our pup in. The girls at the front desk are so nice and you can tell that they genuinely love their job. The only thing that is concerning is the communication. It sometimes seems that the team isn't on the same page with info for your pup.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
