I had a friend caring for my kitty while i was trying to get my own place. on october 18th they informed me my kitty, Meera, was very sick. i had recently got an apartment and was planning on getting her anyway, so i got her and she could barely breath, was covered in her own snot, and was very skinny. i was so scared and i called vets in my area to see if they took walk ins and they all recommended aloha. i called aloha and informed them of her condition including open mouth breathing, and they told me to bring her in right away. she was seen right away. she had a severe upper respiratory infection and was hospitalized for two nights. Right after that, she was hospitalized again for one night to have a feeding tube put in and for a CT scan. She was improving and it was amazing. Then one morning, i noticed she hadn’t moved all night and had peed right in the spot she was laying. i called aloha and they had me bring her in, where she was hospitalized for a third time overnight. The doctor told me if she didn’t improve , it would be time to talk about quality of life. i was so scared. but by the grace of god, she IMPROVED! She actually ate for the first time during her third hospitalization! Since then, she’s had her feeding tube removed and is back to being a normal cat!! The vets believe she has cancer and she is on steroids, and we don’t know how much time we have but i am BEYOND GRATEFUL that i get to give her a life again. Dr J Pepen and Dr Patrick Thompson saved my cats life. Yes it cost me thousands but it was all WORTH IT

Our senior Maltese was suffering and our regular vet was unavailable. I called Aloha and they got us right in. Everyone was so comforting and they took us into a relaxing exam room. It is so hard to lose a pet and I so appreciate the Dr and the staff. 🩷🩷

Terrible sorry to be there, first time this week, with one of my seniors cats…. They just helped to spend my money and get me indebted. Never intention to help my dying cat. They recommended for a bunch of analysis and prescriptions. They said the cheapest option for lab ( that one I could afford) was going to be ready within 24 hours. Sample was taken on 11/11/25… They just called me today 11/14/25 at 11:24am… I asked them just to email me the results with whatever they had to say. At this point NO SENSE, because my cat WAS DECEASED 24 hours after the lab sample was taken. Thanks Aloha Pet & Bird Hospital for helping me to over spend money 💰 and doing NOTHING for my dying cat. I don’t think the veterinaries there are experienced enough to recognize a dying cat and are not humane enough to help owner to provide their pets with the less suffering before death. Or they are just money driven vets. I won’t be back there and don’t recommend anyone bringing their pets there.

Our kitty woke up feeling sick a couple days ago and after frantically calling a handful of places, we were referred here by the Melbourne animal hospital. They were able to take us as a walk-in, the place is spacious and clean with lots of different seating areas so that people with dogs and cats can separately which is really nice for our pet who has anxiety in loud situations (as most do). They've got water and Gatorade, coffee and snacks while you wait. Even a little area where they have beautiful kitties for adoption that you can go and pet. Ali was our technician. he was very friendly, professional and very loving towards our kitty which we greatly appreciated. Not rough at all like some other places we've been to. Dr Patrick was also amazing. He ran blood work, found nothing, and dug deeper with an ultrasound to figure out the issue so that they didn't send us home without an answer. We got prescriptions for everything we needed, and had some trouble filling them since they were specialty. We called back and they helped us figure out where to go, and even got all of our online prescription requests filled immediately so that our kitty can get the food he needs to start feeling better ASAP. Cannot tell you how much I appreciate this veterinary clinic, we will only be bringing our kitty here from now on. Huge thank you to the whole team for all your help with our little fluffy baby, he means the world to us.
