I took my pets here for years and it was amazing. Then it got bought by Banfield. Dr. Harris was always amazing with my dog. Dr. Harris has his own private practice now. Dr. Romi forced the Banfield “Optimum Wellness” Scam on me for my dying 19yo cat, then left the practice. My cat died. The Optimum Wellness plan did not help at all. I hope the doc got a nice commission. Dr. Eib was amazing with end-of-life care for my cat. It appears she’s no longer a doctor here. Dr. Devlin is the dentist from Little Shop of Horrors. She said my dog needed teeth pulled, but couldn’t tell me how many, but warned me it could be up to $2,000. I saved my money. They kept my dog for 11 hours. I could hear him crying when I got there. When they finally brought him out, he looked like he’d been hit by a truck. Crusted blood on his face. $2,323. No receipt, no paperwork, no doctor. Just threw 2 meds at me. The next 36 hours were a nightmare, with my dog whimpering nonstop in pain, unable to sleep. Buprenex was prescribed but not enough. Rimadyl was prescribed, but hard brick pills for a now-half-toothless dog. At the followup appt, the vet tech glances at his mouth, says he’s fine, and tries to force my hand to book the pulling of the other side of his mouth. She was very resistant to let me see the doctor. The doctor comes in, a person I’ve never met despite this being the 3rd appt with her. I ask her why the 19 teeth needed to be pulled. She can’t really answer, just keeps saying they’re really “worried about his health”. (He’s perfectly healthy.) I ask why such minimal pain meds were given, she says she gave the normal amount and if my dog needed more then I should have called them (they were closed). She has zero compassion for his pain. She calls my dog’s mouth a “trash mouth”. When checking out, the tech says my visit is free, but then she says actually it’s not because my dog is not on the — wait for it — Optimum Wellness Plan. I tell her I’ve been scammed with the plan before. The “service” was $51. So, $2,374.32 total to have my dog unnecessarily maimed, and to be ultra-pressured into letting them run amok with another $2,000+ to further disable him. The tech said she “could give me some time to think about it” lol. So kind. I’ll be thinking about a second opinion at another facility. I still have no dental X-rays (bc they did none) or any information about which teeth were removed and why. First do no harm. Edit: “Owner”, Why would I further help your butcher shop?

Dr. Devlin and Chy are absolutely amazing. I took my cat there who is super skittish and not friendly to strangers and they were truly cat whispers. My cat was even tolerant of Chy clipping all of her nails. 10/10 recommend

I had a dental done on my elderly dog. They did a good job with him. The receptionist had a lot to be desired. There was some disorganization when I came to pick up my dog in terms of getting his meds. The receptionist had no eye contact And it was pretty abrupt.
