I tried to cancel my monthly insurance that I got with them 2 weeks ago , they say your first appointment is free when they bring you in and now they want to charge me for that (suppose free visit they offer) I'm cancelling because of that issue they are not transparent only seen my dog once didn't do any test or nothing paid $165. to get an insurance that is $57.00 a month and now they want to charge me for a visit when it was a free visit in the first place to cancel that plan I have to pay for that visit, be careful what you sign that you don't have time to read and they don't explain what your signing. If anyone else is going through this together this kind of fraud can be stopped. False Advertising! I am going to the BBB. This is stealing in a suit with a degree under your arms. They called me the next day to see how my pet is doing, when I didn't leave my pet and left furious for the overpricing situation. Now they ant me to pay $180 more to get out off the plan and they have only seen my dog once no test no nothing! Thieves!

This is a trap they said the first pet check it's free but they don't do any checks just touch your pet around all they want to do is sell you the pet insurance for their hospital they got me I got the pet insurance they told me they would spay to my dog if I pay extra a month I agreed when I took my dog for the appointment to get spayed thank God I asked they wanted to charge me for the cone and wanted to charge me extra for the medications so every time you go you gotta pay extra money so what is the purpose of having the insurance for If they cannot even add a cone what they want to do is drag you of your money they're not transparent they made me miss a day of work to take my pet for the appointment and when I got there they told I had to pay more money that it wasn't included in the plan that I had to pay monthly for they're not transparent you leave your dog and you have no choice but to pay to get your dog back all they want to do is for you to get their plans and then they want to charge you an arm and a leg every time you go there for anything I will never recommend this hospital for nobody in the world. This is fraud considering they're not transparent and explain to you that If you paid for it to get an animal spayed you got to pay extra for medication and extra for even a cone give me a break. I have been trying to cancel my contact with them and now I have to pay them in order to cancel the contract they never did any exams to my pet whatsoever this is a trap I wish I had money for a lawyer to take them to the light because they're literally sitting from people!. I left their office super mod and they have the audacity to call me the next day to ask me how my pet is doing they don't even know what they're doing they don't even know what they're dealing they don't read papers they don't read your shirt You're just another number your pet is a dollar sign to them.

I took my dog in last week on Friday because she was limping. An X-ray was done to determine the cause of the issue, and I was told that the doctor would call me later that afternoon or early the next day with the results. The following day, I called the clinic but was told the doctor was busy and would call me back. On Monday, they called to check on my dog, but still had no update from the doctor and again said he would call me. I continued to follow up on Wednesday and Thursday, and each time I was told the same thing—that the doctor would call me back. By today, Friday, a full week later, I called again feeling frustrated because my dog was still limping and I had received no clear answers, only anti-inflammatory medication. When I expressed my concern about the delay, the doctor responded in a dismissive manner, stating that my dog has arthritis and that there was nothing more they could do. He then offered me the phone number of an orthopedic specialist and ended the conversation. I found this experience very disappointing. My dog is part of my family, and I was already worried about her condition, in addition to the high cost of veterinary care. The lack of timely communication and the cold, dismissive attitude made the situation even more upsetting.

I'd go to the Banfield in Pompano was not happy with the outcome or the treatment options. I brought my cat a few days later to the Banfield near sunrise and it felt like a world of difference. Leslie got me booked and checked in quickly. Once in the room, Hio did a thorough review and was genuinely interested in what was causing my cats problem. Even though I did the drop off service, they called pretty much within an hour to come get him he was seen and treated.

⚠️ WARNING DONT GO HERE!!! I had an extremely disappointing experience at Banfield Pet Hospital, and I feel compelled to share it. Unfortunately, I did not feel that my dog’s concerns were thoroughly addressed. Instead of clear answers and a defined plan of care, the focus seemed to be on additional medications, shots, and add-on services without fully resolving the underlying issue. As a pet owner, that left me feeling frustrated and unheard. During our visit with Dr. Alexis Rafael Rendon, my dog was taken to a back room out of view. When the doctor returned, I repeatedly asked how she was doing and what he observed. I asked multiple times and did not receive clear, direct answers about her condition. It was concerning to leave an appointment without a solid understanding of my dog’s health or next steps. Additionally, I was very disappointed with the cancellation policy for the wellness plan. I was informed that to cancel, I would need to pay back the “savings” from previous visits, which ends up costing more than simply continuing the monthly payments. That policy feels misleading and financially frustrating. As a devoted pet parent, I expect transparency, compassion, and clear communication. Sadly, this experience did not reflect those standards. I cannot recommend this location to others who are seeking attentive, solution-focused care for their pets. ⚠️ warning do not go to Banfield veterinary !!!!! Save yourself the money and anguish!
