- DSD SJul 14, 20211.0I went to checkout the other day and the cashier wouldn't let me checkout without providing my email and phone number. Even after telling him that I'm not from the US and don't live near a Petco he stated that he had to have my information. He said that once I gave him my information he would be able to apply a discount which finally convinced me give up my information. However when looking back at my receipt no discount was applied. I will never again shop at this store even when I'm visiting. Not happy. You should not require personal information to make a purchase.
