If I could give 0 stars I would. We usually go to the Boynton Beach location, but they were fully booked, so we ended up here. The receptionist, Lori, was so kind and accommodating. The techs were awesome too even though I didn't catch their names. Dr. Bump is who I have an issue with.
I overheard that she’s a relief vet, whatever that means. She talks to you as if she’s very rushed. She doesn’t take time to answer questions without making you feel stupid. She was snappy to one of the techs in front of me when he brought my dogs bloodwork results into the room. She said “can’t you see I’m talking?!” When I asked her about using care credit to cover the very expensive X-ray we were recommended to get, her literal response was “I don’t get involved in financial stuff.” Dr. Bump is like talking to a condescending and rude ex boyfriend. Part of being a caregiver is caring. She should go through some sort of sensitivity training because nothing about a rude vet is appreciated especially when you’re spending close to 1k to see them.

Best Veterinarian experience I've ever had and I've been to a lot of Vets. I've been to Banfield veterinarian hospital in Delray Beach 5 times and I was so pleased with their services. The staff is very accommodating and there's no long waiting time during any part of the visit.

I'm gonna be flat out honest, if you have a dog, it might be okay to go there, but if you have cats, absolutely not. Here was my story today:
I went in with two cats for a simple wellness check, one cat super calm, never has had any problems with any vet (although this was also their first time going in). The other cat is slightly aggressive but typically never has any major problems either.
When the docile cat went in with this Vet, who is named Emmanuel or something, apparently my cat was so aggressive and so scared of him. My cat has been to 7-10 different locations and never had a history of issues. But, I can understand there's always an exception, but something really did feel off.
He then asked me to come in and pick up my cat and put him in the cage. And, after I do, he tells me to give them sedatives before I come in in order to make them more docile.
For drugs that he gives me, its two types that I need to feed them together? Never did that before. I don't understand if "one might work without the other" why they would assign me both at the same time as a guess/Hail Mary? Anyways, his assistant goes back and forth to and from his office about 4 to 5 times in order to give me the correct dosage and explain to me what all these drugs do (made a 30 min visit into 1 hour and 30 mins by the way). When I ask him if it is the correct dosage, he pulls out Google/textbook on his phone and shows me the numbers 50-200mg of pretty strong sedatives (sorry, I don't remember the name at this moment) and says, "Look, I'm assigning you 100mg. This is totally okay." And if you have any problems, you just have to look if your cat is drowsy/drunk (Now these drugs are supposed to make him drowsy already). So I didn't understand at all, how am I supposed to find out if I need to take my cat to the ER? And his response was, "Oh, you'll know. He'll start to drool", but my cat already drools without any drugs!...Like you got to be kidding me when he also says: "If he starts to drool, take him to the ER"...My thoughts are: By that time already he'd be dead?...I just don't understand how a VET could be so thoughtless.
I've never had a vet visit like this. He made me genuinely feel like he was experimenting drugs on my cat and wanted to create problems. When I asked him, "Why are you showing me textbook stuff? I want to know your experience," he told me about one of the experiences where he had given this cat the same drugs that he assigned my cats, and the cat died because it was "too sick"...
I told him, "How could you assign my cat these drugs without a wellness check and just assume that everything is going to be okay? When you assigned the other sick cat these drugs, it died. How do you know that my cat isn't sick? Are you just guessing?"
Response was pretty similar to "My license is on the line, I wouldn't just guess"...That to me is a terrible answer. I don't care about your license. I care about your experience and passion to my cat. I am going to you for help and I expect at bare minimum, when dealing with things that could KILL YOU (like these drugs), you do intelligent research and have experiences to back up your directive.
At the end of the day, it was a super terrible visit. Worst of my life actually. I wouldn't typically write a review like this, but its really necessary to hear.
I would never go back, I'm never going back, and they also made me pay $60 for the drugs that would potentially kill my cat because they simply couldn't handle him within 5-10 mins of trying from when they took him.
other than that, nothing was wrong with the environment. A little smelly, and typically vet places to me aren't that bad. It reeks of dogs (I had a dog), which goes back to my initial statement of "If you have a dog, it would probably be okay"
I don't wish he gets fired. I hope he keeps his job and learns from these mistakes. This entire situation could've been handled better with the correct procedure and more comforting words from experiences that geared toward my actual current situation (Not something I could google)

I used to like this place when I brought my pet dog. But now I feel like since Dr. Legland left her health began to decline to where she unfortunately passed away
