Honestly, I was quite anxious and nervous about buying a chinchilla from a store since I couldn’t find a local breeder. I had some reservations about purchasing from Petco or similar shops. However, when I arrived, I decided to check the chinchillas’ condition. I was pleasantly surprised by how well cared for all the animals were. The cages were clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They even allowed me to hold the chinchilla and inspect her to ensure she was healthy. They also let me offer her a little treat. After that, I went to the checkout, where the staff explained all the details to me. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this Petco. In fact, it’s probably the one of the best Petco

From the momento I dropped him off she was short and rude, she also assured me that it’d take 4-5 hours to cut his hair and bathe him. I went to pick him up 5 hrs later and she (very rudely) told me it’d take more time. I showed up 5 hrs later because I got tired of calling but no one ever answer my calls. Long story short, she did a regular job and gave me my dog back 6.5 hours later. Not only that, she had the nerve to tell me she left my dog in the crate for 4 hrs crying because she thought I didn’t want her to blow dry him, which was a lie. I would NEVER take my dog back here. And it was pretty expensive, around $145, for a not so good job. Very rude and unprofessional.

- CSChristian SanchezDec 15, 20251.0This is not the first petco… it’s like petco doesn’t hire the right people. Always see fish dead, anemones bleached-melted, softies completely gone. I try to come and rescue some and it’s just not worth it. It saddens me to see this as a reef keeper myself. It’ll be nice to come to a local fish store where they keep their aquariums in check. I’ve seen in some petcos where the worker just brushes the dead fish off. Do better.
