I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Banfield in Turtle Run that I feel compelled to share. My daughter took her dog there a couple minutes to 5pm when they close at 6pm, after she vomited some mucus with blood, and instead of providing immediate care, the staff urged her to go to an emergency vet simply because they didn’t want to stay a few extra minutes to help. This was not only alarming for my daughter but also showed me a complete lack of concern for our pet's well-being.
The emergency vet they sent us to was also shocked to see why our vet didn’t do more. To add insult to injury we were quoted $800 for fluids, an ultrasound, and blood work—procedures that could have easily been quickly handled by our regular vet if they would have cared enough to take the time. It felt like they were more focused on leaving work than actually caring for my pet.
This experience has left me extremely frustrated and disillusioned. Not to mention costing us more money and stress. Sadly they weren’t always like this. I do not recommend them to anyone.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
