- LCLauren CostaJan 28, 20261.0I had a disappointing experience at this location. I brought my 8 week old golden retriever there because she was not doing so good. When we got there they told us that they had an emergency and that we can leave her there and they’d call us when she was ready but it would take a couple hours. We told them that we weren’t from the area and they were able to accommodate. They ran a couple tests and she came back positive for parvo. When the Doctor came in he was very insensitive and told us and I quote “return her where you got her from because her chances aren’t good” and that all the puppies were going to die. I work in healthcare and this Dr didn’t seem to have any empathy at all. He gave us a referral to an ER and said they’re cheaper because they just opened which I found weird because come to find out their other location treats parvo. Dr. Grigoras Florin Cilmau left a very bad taste in my mouth and gave us 0 hope for our dog. I would definitely avoid this location or Dr. Girgoras Florin Cilmau I will say everyone in the front and the nurses were very nice but outside of that absolutely not. I’m at a different ER and they told us Sunny had a 90% chance of surviving with proper care

Last time I schedule the appointment for in room and then I get here and it’s a drop off . Today I had to miss work because I scheduled at 8:30 and my appointment was moved to 10!

They showed genuine compassion from the moment we called — even making an exception to stay open a little longer so we could come in. The environment they created was peaceful and comforting — no wait time, everything handled gently and with care. It truly made this tragic goodbye as calm and loving as possible. A month later, we received a beautiful handwritten card personally signed by the team. That thoughtful gesture meant so much to us and showed how deeply they care about both their patients and their families. Thank you, Banfield, for treating our dear cat and our family with such empathy and respect. You made an unbearable moment a little easier to bear. ❤️

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
