  I took my cat here a couple times within 2 years. Last January, my cat was given her yearly vaccines as well as antibiotics for an UTI, which resulted in her getting really sick. my poor baby was fevered, vomiting, lethargic, and hiding. I had to take her back & watch her scream in pain as they gave her a shot to make her feel better (in the same spot she had all the vaccines so it hurt her) ~ but that would not have ever happened had they done things the right way & waited to vaccinate her until after her antibiotic treatment. I only know this now, because last week my cat got another UTI, and when I was calling different vets… they ALL said they would not give her her vaccines until she was fully treated for her UTI, because it would make her sick to give them at the same time… mind you, EVERY vet said this. it breaks my heart that this office made my baby sick. also, when they tried to do the urinalysis on my cat, they said she wouldn’t let them so they kept her there for a few hours and gave her fluids so she would pee (which of course costs) & then fast forward to last week… the new vet i took her to had absolutely zero issue doing a urinalysis… probably because my baby actually felt safe & cared for. pets read energy!! i wouldn’t be writing this review if they weren’t also unkind. every time I was in this office or spoke to someone on the phone, they had a bad attitude. today i called to get my cats vaccine records for the 2nd time because the first one she sent wasn’t what i needed and the girl on the phone huffed at me 🤣 i promise im a really kind person (who also rarely writes reviews) but this needed to be said. i will never return here.

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dr. Dan Cowden at A Pet’s Place of Clearwater is truly exceptional. He was phenomenal with my uncle during one of the hardest moments—having to say goodbye to his beloved dog Katie. My uncle has Dementia, and Dr. Cowden showed incredible compassion, patience, and kindness. He gave my uncle all the time he needed to grieve in the office and made our entire family feel comfortable and supported. What meant even more was that Dr. Cowden shared a Bible verse to help bring my uncle peace. That level of care went far beyond medical treatment—it was heartfelt and deeply human. The entire staff at A Pet’s Place is amazing. The vet assistants were gentle, respectful, and so caring throughout the process. The office staff was top notch. We are incredibly grateful for Dr. Cowden and everyone at A Pet’s Place of Clearwater. They turned a heartbreaking day into one filled with dignity, love, and comfort. 💛

  The doc and his staff are great!!! We utilize their boarding and veterinary services. Their love for pets shows because our fur babies love going there.

  Total shit $300 later a whole x-ray and nobody could tell me shit still not worth the money find a free vet!
