  I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience at Banfield Pet Hospital inside Petsmart in Brandon. I scheduled an appointment specifically for a travel health certificate for my newly acquired puppy, as this was listed as a service option when booking. However, the entire visit was disorganized, unprofessional, and frankly upsetting. The nurse, Carla/Karla, was very condescending and spoke to me in a way that felt disrespectful and judgmental. I had just received the puppy the day prior as a gift from my uncle, so I had limited documentation on hand. Instead of being helpful, she repeatedly questioned me in a way that made me feel like I had done something wrong—at one point even reacting to my request for a travel certificate with “oh… interesting,” while giving me a look that felt accusatory and inappropriate. I provided the vaccination records I had (sent to me by my uncle via screenshot), and she immediately treated them as suspicious and potentially fraudulent. She repeatedly questioned their validity, only for the doctor to later confirm they were acceptable. This back-and-forth clearly showed a lack of communication and competence between staff. Throughout the visit, both the nurse and the veterinarian seemed unsure of the process. The nurse continuously went in and out of the room, and the veterinarian only briefly appeared for about 20 seconds. Despite this, I was quoted $250 for the certificate, and ultimately they were unable to provide the service anyway due to documentation requirements that were not clearly communicated beforehand. To make matters worse, I was still charged an $80 office visit fee despite receiving no actual service—only interrogation, confusion, and poor treatment. From the front desk to the clinical staff, the entire experience was extremely unprofessional. I left feeling judged, disrespected, and completely unsupported in what should have been a straightforward request. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this location to anyone. I will also be escalating this experience through the appropriate channels.

  They very sweet my dog loves them and every moment there my dog felt comfortable and safe . They also very professional and knowledgeable, I appreciate them very much thank you for not only making my baby happy but also peace of mind for me the parent my dog means the world to me he is family.
