I rushed thru the door with my severely ill Kacee. She was immediately taken in to be examined and diagnosed. Dr Stacey was most caring, compassionate and considerate to my precious doggie companion and me thru a very difficult and emotional time. We were very blessed to be taken into the care of this, dear Dr at this phenomenal Clinic. Gratefully Vickie

Do I enjoy going here? Well, of course not - this is my second cat with a cardiac problem, so it’s usually not a fun visit that ends in great news. Do I absolutely trust them in their expertise to help us and do a great job? One hundred percent. They have helped my cats to have happy, healthier, longer lives, and for that, I am forever grateful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with fur babies that have cardiac or emergency needs. Photo of my current cardiac baby for the fur tax

My husband and I had just arrived To Florida when my three year old Weimaraner got a shoulder wound from his littermate. Obviously, we did not have a vet established here yet. I called Southwest Florida Veterinary Specialists in Bonita Springs and they told me to bring him in. As to be expected, like a regular people emergency room, there was a wait for treatment, but the staff was wonderful and Dr. Bennett was excellent! She explained everything very thoroughly and I was presented various treatment options and the various costs prior to treatment. (I appreciated the transparency). The staff was very friendly towards me and gentle with my boy Otto. If your pet ever needs emergency care, I highly recommend this practice!

In respects to many other comments that say the office manager and receiving staff are rude, I most certainly agree. We spent two months trying to find out what was wrong with our fur baby. After speaking with many other vets and clinics who were kind and gentle, I do believe SW do not care about animals nor their owners. They communicate poorly once in the room and gaslight the owners throughout the process. Our story is too sad to write now. My baby was not diagnosed in time. He was also so traumatised after his time there that I had to hold him in my arms all night while he stayed in a state of total stress…. We thought he would die. I never saw him act this way and his is 10+ years seeing vets. In terms of care and treatment, I would agree with the other posters whose experiences were like mine- and say this clinic is the one to stay away from if you’re looking to help your animal and be treated like a human being. The front office manager rolls her eyes at you when you are crying. They make you feel they need your credit card 💳 not your tears. The only kind people are the receptionists. And the ER doctor 🧑‍⚕️ was informative and professional. The rest of the people we met however were cruel and serving a bas attitude instead of smiles. To the office manager / intake team : People come to you desperate. Maybe that’s overwhelming for you to have a rotating door of owners with animals in trouble. But if you can’t manage that energy coming your way, AND you can’t be kind supportive and understanding while we hand to you the most important beings in our lives to help them in their suffering, furthermore, that we have come for HELP not CHAOS - maybe you should not do this job.

We had a really scary experience with our senior dog Nash and ended up needing to hospitalize him here, and I truly can’t say enough good things about the care he received. From the moment we arrived, the team was compassionate, patient, and incredibly thorough. Dr. Bennett and Dr. Cacciatore were both wonderful, they took his symptoms seriously, explained what was happening in a way we could understand, and were honest while still being reassuring throughout the process. Hospitalizing your pet is overwhelming, but the entire staff, especially the technicians, made such a difference. Every tech we interacted with was kind, attentive, and made us feel comfortable asking as many questions as we needed without ever feeling rushed. We didn't get a chance to meet the two other veterinarians who took care of him overnight but knowing Nash was in such caring hands gave us so much peace during an incredibly stressful time. Nash is doing so much better now, and we’re beyond grateful for the level of care, communication, and compassion shown to both him and us. Thank you to Dr. Bennett, Dr. Cacciatore, and the entire team for taking such great care of our boy. We truly believe you saved his life.
