  I am very disappointed with my recent visit to this Petco location. During my visit, I observed multiple fish that appeared visibly sick, as well as several dead fish still left in the tanks. This raised serious concerns about animal care, disease control, and overall tank maintenance. When I brought this to the attention of a manager, I was told that with the holiday season it gets busy. While I understand that retail can be hectic, being busy is not an excuse for neglecting live animals. Sick and deceased fish should never be left in tanks, regardless of the time of year. As someone who cares deeply about animal welfare, this was upsetting to see. I have reported this concern through appropriate channels and hope management takes this seriously and makes immediate improvements.

  I have come here a couple times and the workers have always been so helpful. I think her name is Alyssa but she helped me out with several things I was trying to find. Even the dog trainer gave me so many helpful tips and helped me understand some things I was having trouble with at home. My trip was pleasant. I highly recommend you going in and getting to know them. They have some great people that work in there.

  All Petcos are starting to sound real hypocritical i went in here for a damn fish cuz I got a massive tank and im trying to make it as natural as possible because we all know a fish tank aint natural but anyways I went in there to buy a fish so he can keep the guppy population normal and they wont look like a bunch of rabbits. This lady looked at me in the face and said "I cant sell you a fish to eat other fish" like if yall dont sell massive amounts of ghost shrimp to be food source and crickets to be food ! Roaches! To be food! Cuz who the hell has a tank to look at them for fun and to keep this in a fish perspective 1 yall got a bunch of dead fishes in the tanks and 2! Yall literally have a bunch of fishes next to the sink with no decoration nothing hundreds of them that people use to be feeders. Regardless I bought my damn fish somewhere else and put him in the tank and my guppies are still super happy and still dominate the tank over every other fish in there 1 fish aint do a difference. Im officially done with petco you guys are the worst petsmart is 90 times better hell! Self owned smaller stores are 100 times better and understand the circle of life.....now let me catch her eating a fish outside of work ima take a picture

  Went there for the clinic, doctors and assistants were very knowledgeable and nice.

  I purchased 6 cichlids for a 55 gal tank that already had 4. I realized after putting them in the tank that they may not be comfortable once they are adult sized. I came in the very next day to return 4 of the 6 I had purchased and was met by Jenna who was very rude. She said they could not accept the fish despite the return policy stating, “30-day return terms apply to companion animal and freshwater aquatic life purchases made in store. Saltwater aquatic life cannot be accepted at store locations”. When I pointed this out to her she simply said “We don’t accept live fish back at this store”. So, return policies must differ from store to store and the return policy on the back of the receipt must not apply. Thankfully, Jen the manager came to assist and did accept them back. It was the fact that Jenna had the nastiest attitude that confirmed for me that you’re better off at the Kirkwood Hwy location. Her attitude and demeanor left a bad taste in my mouth. Be aware that the return policy doesn’t apply to this store, apparently.
