The employees and Dr. Madhulal Valliyatte were very efficient and friendly. I needed an appointment for a health certificate and vaccines urgently, they gave us an appointment quickly and helped us, in addition to this they also offered us the service of ear cleaning and nail cutting. At the time of pick up my pet was very calm and happy. I highly recommend them! they offer excellent quality services! Estamos extremadamente complacidos con el servicio recibido en Banfield Pet Hospital de Churchmans Rd en Newark. Los empleados y el Dr. Madhulal Valliyatte fueron muy eficientes y amables. Necesitaba de una cita para un certificado de salud y vacunas urgentemente, ellos me dieron cita rapidamente y me ayudaron, ademas de esto ellos tambien me ofrecieron el servicio de limpieza de oidos y corte de uñas. Al momento de recoger a mi mascota, ella estaba muy tranquila y contenta. Los recomiendo muchisimo pues ofrecen un servicio excelente de calidad!

This was my nearest location — 30 minutes away, across state lines, through tolls. I arrive at the location, go to check in, and the front desk worker tells me that my puppy can’t be seen today because I’ve been double booked. WHY DIDNT YOU CALL ME TO TELL ME THAT! You waited until I was there, in person, puppy in hand to tell me. You have the schedule, you’ve been open for 2 hours, you didn’t think to call ahead to let me know ? Incompetent work staff with zero remorse for their mistakes and the impact they have on others.

It’s nearly impossible to get someone on the phone to make an appointment, and the techs don’t have a ton of time for you when you’re there. It’s a shame because the employees are so amazing, they just don’t have the bandwidth to keep up with the workload.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
