- SFShall Foxx6 days ago1.0I stopped in on 11/17/2025 to see the saltwater collection of fish. I found a few snails I wanted to purchase, i walked around for a few minutes to find someone to help me. When I FINALLY found a young lady to assist me she told me it is there policy not to sell fish after 8:30 due to their closing time of 9. It was 8:15, she proceeded to stare at her watch and in a huff asked if I knew what I wanted. She caught my 4 snails and bagged them. I checked out with the same associate at 8:35(receipt time stamped), I have never been treated so poorly here or at the Dover Location. I shop here on a regular basis and am a vital care member who spends several hundred dollars a month on my pets. This treatment is a total fail on behalf of Casey at the Middletown Petco.

The store is well stocked with a convenient layout so you can locate what you need, and if you can't find it, the staff are knowledgeable of their products.

My water quality is perfect. Even had a manager say that their vendor isn’t very good. Such a waste of time and money.
