  Summer the Groomer was such a kind soul to my pup and helped keep him calm throughout the session! She did a fantastic job would 100% recommend her for your grooming needs!

  I used to come in often and now avoid this place if I can find alternatives. The service is pretty spotty depending on who you get. There is a shift supervisor who is absolutely horrendous; ever encounter I’ve had with him has been negative and I avoid him like the plague. He has been dishonest about policies, he is lazy when it comes to support, and he is argumentative, one night I walked around the entire store and stood in front of the register a few times before he came barreling out of the front office… he then huffed and scoffed at me as I tried to return an animal I had adopted a few days prior due to odd behaviors. He seems miserable. The last time I went there the person at the register seemed completely stoned. They wouldn’t let the people in the line know when they were ready for the next person and so people had to guess, very awkward. By the time I got to the register, they would not turn away from the register and would only glance at my items with a side eye as they scanned them. they were mumbling so quietly that I finally just stopped asking what they were saying and waited until I knew my card went through. I’ve had better interactions with an automated system. It was quite an experience. Anyway… I’d say spend the extra 10 minutes and drive to the Enfield location.

  DO NOT FALL FOR PRE PAID SERVICES I have mixed feelings about this place. Staff doesn’t seem knowledgeable and it’s giving out the wrong information. My puppy came from Puerto Rico. That’s being said, The veterinary in Puerto Rico put the primary shots so the puppy was ready/safe to travel. I had all the documents in hand by the time I went there on the date that the vet established to go for the next set of vaccines. They weren’t sure about anything so they told me that we have to start from 0 and putted all the shots that my dog already had even though I had the documents that proved that my dog didn’t needed those because he had them already. They refused to put the rabies shot during the date that the Vet from Puerto Rico suggested because my puppy was too young… ok whatever, they’re the experts so I just followed what they say but they advised me that if they put the shots that day, skipping the rabies one, I would have to come back and pay the summary again because the shots weren’t done on time which is super confusing because didn’t I pre paid a all included bundle? I went to a different location the second time (second row of shots) and over there, they scheduled me for the rabies vaccine in a couple weeks without any charge because I pre paid for it so why you if you guys try to double charge me? Go to 25 hazard Ave, End field CT instead. This young kids have no clue of what they’re doing and I don’t even know if they get paid by commission or not , but they’re trying to rip off people’s money. I was just trying to be a responsible pet owner.

  I had a very uncomfortable experience at this Petco location. I was in the fish section, and a young female employee was kindly trying to help me by getting a fish for me. She was patient, polite, and clearly doing her best to provide good customer service. It was obvious she genuinely wanted to help. While she was assisting me, the manager, Jason, came over and rudely interrupted. In front of me, he said to her, “You’re supposed to remain at the front. You can’t help this person. They should wait like everyone else.” His tone was dismissive and unnecessarily harsh. I felt especially bad for the employee. She looked embarrassed and caught off guard, even though she was simply trying to help a customer. No one deserves to be spoken to like that, especially a young employee who was doing the right thing. It created an awkward and uncomfortable atmosphere, and as a customer, it made me feel unwelcome. I strongly believe action should be taken regarding this manager’s behavior. Speaking disrespectfully to a coworker in front of customers is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the store. Management should lead by example and treat employees with professionalism and respect. I hope corporate leadership takes this matter seriously. I will not be shopping at this location no longer and hope action is done on the manger.
