A 5-month-old dog is not an adult. Growth plates are open, the skeleton and hormones are immature, and development is ongoing. Despite knowing my dog was almost 5 months old, one staff member still insisted he was an adult, and another person backed her up instead of correcting the error. This is scientifically wrong and reflects a basic ignorance of canine development, which is unacceptable in veterinary care.

We went to banfield Stamford to get an answer about why my dog is peeing so much all the time and crying all of the sudden from a couple day . We specifically explained all the situation and what the first vet we took him have told us everything pointing to cancer or something wrong from his hips and down . So we went here telling all of this , they did “EXAMS” and then called us the next day saying everything looks good . WHAT ?? How is everything good if the dog is in pain and peeing every time of the day???? It doesn’t make sense , then after that they said they want to do another type of exams to know what’s going on , ISNT THAT WHAT WE HAVE ASKED IN THE FIRST PLACE ??? We have spent already in the exam that was supposed to show what’s wrong with our dog and we didn’t even get a clear answer . We have called again to see what can be done , and they have said they don’t know why they did that exam in the first place . So we basically spent money for an exam that wasn’t even going to show anything . What a waste of money and time ! Is like going for a leg pain and they end up doing an exam for your eyes . We are not coming back to this place .

This location is always overbooked, understaffed and hard to communicate with. While their doors are open, they don’t accept calls until later in the morning and they’re quick to turn you away in the midst of an emergency.

I cannot praise the Banfield team enough for their exceptional, expert assistance with our international dog export.
We transferred to this clinic after our long-term vet bungled the complex export paperwork, putting our entire export timeline at risk. Cecelia immediately stepped in as an absolute professional. She took swift control of the complicated logistics, taking extra time to review, discuss, and master the demanding documentation required by our importing country. She successfully navigated all requirements, ensuring our dogs were cleared for travel without any further delay.
Cecelia is professional, attentive, kind, and deeply empathetic, she provided calm guidance during what was an unbelievably stressful time. The entire Banfield team demonstrated a commitment that was truly above and beyond. Thank you (!!!), Cecelia & Banfield, for ensuring a seamless export.
If you require specialized veterinary assistance, or are preparing your pets for export I cannot recommend this clinic more highly.

I’ve made 5 attempts at scheduling appts for my 5 month old pup who is behind in vaccinations, this company claims they didn’t have my pup on the list to be seen. I get the sense that they discriminate against new patients to accommodate their own patients. Don’t bother making an appt they’ll claim you’re not scheduled happened to me 5 times.

Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
