We are changing vets and pet insurance it is truly that bad. First time we became a bit sketchy was when after his dental my dog kept passing out after they gave him too much anesthesia, which I note could kill him. After that we planned to get him a new insurance but before that could kick in he had a his wellness exam because it wasn't anything major they would need to do we decided that we might as well take him. Giant error I believe they stuck him with another dog because this truly is a business and not a vet and they want the most profit throwing out safety thru the window. And therefore my dog I believe was bit in the ass resulting in a abcess that was leaking puss, bleeding and had him a fit. I truly wish I had never brought him here and trusted them.

Ever since I have brought my pup here for 3 years now, I had to bring my little kitten as well. GREAT place yes, it’s 30 mins away from my house BUT is sooo worth it!

They always provide top notch care for our dog. The staff is friendly and polite and the vets do a great job in explaining what is happening to our dog. I highly recommend Banfield in Stamford CT

Please DO NOT bring your pet here. The care is horrible and it's like bringing your pet to a trial facility. The vets are always different and never last more than a few months. The staff lacks basic customer service skills and common sense. Constantly issued the wrong medication, takes days to get fixed. But when it's time to pay they make sure they are on point charging you every little dime they could. I'm sorry but bringing a pet to the vet is already a stressful situation and this place does nothing to help the situation. It's so bad i have seen animals being taken out in boxes by there pet owners to have private autopsy's done when there loved pet dies at there hands . That should tell you all you need to know. There animal plan is a scam becasue they still find ways to charge you for anything. The best is when your pet dies they still charge you the plan for a year after becasue they claim you used the plan to bring the pet in like come on. After 10 plus years with them starting from petsmart I honestly say it's time to go. They don't have that passionate care anymore and are more worried about filling there pockets then the actual care for your pets.
