- LPLauryn Pacheco4 days ago1.0I brought my dog here for an appointment a few days ago, i scheduled it on the app for 1:45 because they had it available and it worked perfectly with my work schedule. However, I get a call at 8 am saying that I needed to change my appointment time or reschedule because it was an inconvenience for their lunch time which takes place at 2 pm and they wouldn’t be able to care for my puppy. I called back to reschedule, nobody picked up so I rescheduled for 1 pm on the app because that’s what they had available. I get a call at 10 am while i’m at work asking me to change my appointment time once again because an hour before their lunch time was also a major inconvenience for them as well. After dealing with that, i brought my 13 week old puppy in for his appointment and gave them a run down that he may have coccidia or worms because my other puppy had it a week ago and just finished treatment. They proceeded to tell me i needed to train my dog after saying that he was a great puppy and he did a great job…. and they told me this with no other context. He’s a puppy we’re working on training him right now i felt insulted. However, they promised us lab results the next day and we got it 2 days later and to my surprise they didn’t even test him for coccidia which was a main concern of mine. I will not be returning and felt as if my dogs health was put aside for their convenience for both scheduling purposes and testing purposes.

- NNNick NovakDec 23, 20251.0Very disappointed at today's service: Raining/Snowing - wet parking lot and salt all over the parking lot and the sidewalk in front of the door. Yet after having surgery on my dog's paw, she was sent out with no bandage, no protection, nothing. There was a "booty" in the bag (photo attached) that is a JOKE - a stiff plastic bag from used injectable veterinary fluids slits cut in it with a strip of gauze to tie it with - are you kidding? I guess you don't really care about the wound getting infected!!! I going to have to reconsider continuing to bring our pets back to Banfield.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
