She was so sweet and patient with him! She let him get used to the dryer, which is a huge accomplishment as he’s nervous around vaccums and similar noises. Kara was thoughtful and thorough. She was even gracious with me being a neurotic dog mom. Honestly, I can't say enough fabulous things about her! Finn has a bad experience getting his nails done at another chain place in Norwalk when he was only about 5 months old. They rushed him, didn't’t secure him properly (only had one back leg through the grooming harness), and were generally rough with him. I should have stopped it right then and there but honestly I was kind of in shock. Since the I've been extremely cautious about taking him anywhere. Kara has worked with Finn everytime we've been here and has been so good with him! She has a very centered, calm demeanor, and pays close attention to Finns body language. She really understand how important it is to build trust with her clients. I’ve never been someone who's taken animals for professional grooming in the past, and can honestly say I only decided to try a professional bath/deshedding because she made us feel so comfortable. Additionally, Kara never tried to upsell me on doing a full treatment, she just made Finn and I feel safe. This may seem like a lot but as someone who has been in the animal care industry for almost my entire life, finding someone who you can trust with your own furbabies is a very RARE thing. So Kara, thank you so much your time and patience! You are a fabulous human being!!
