  Terrible service. My dog ​​nearly died—vomiting blood right in front of them—and they did nothing. I waited five hours and had to go to another clinic because they wouldn't treat her. Meanwhile, new clients who arrived after me were attended to immediately, while my dog ​​was completely ignored. For an emergency facility, I have had a truly terrible experience.

  I cannot say enough good things about this veterinary office. After a very stressful experience elsewhere, I brought my dog Barbie in, and the difference in care was immediate. They took the time to thoroughly examine her, quickly identified the actual issue, and started treatment right away. What stood out most was how seriously they took her pain. They made sure she was comfortable and provided the medication she needed, which I truly appreciated. The staff was kind, professional, and transparent about everything. Pricing was very reasonable compared to my prior experience. I finally felt like my concerns were being heard and that my dog was in good hands. I will absolutely be continuing Barbie’s care here and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a compassionate and trustworthy vet.

  I couldn’t be more impressed with the team at Newtown Veterinary Specialists. From the moment we arrived, the staff showed genuine care and professionalism, making a stressful visit much easier for both me and my pets. The doctors took the time to explain everything clearly, never rushing through questions, and their follow-up was exceptional. I left knowing my pet was truly in the best hands. Highly recommend them to anyone seeking top-quality veterinary care.

  This is an amazing facility. Back in February, my cat was ill and my primary vet tried to find an emergency vet that would provide care for him. Some places did not understand why we would treat an elderly cat, but the Newtown staff never questioned it or casted judgement. They knew that age does not equal quality of life. And Apollo was not ready yet. They were able to treat him in that moment and we continued to give him comfort care at home until he decided it was his time to go. We knew his time was limited. We kept him comfortable and he even improved, his bloodwork normalized and he was back to my normal boy. But last night out of nowhere he decided it was his time to go and we rushed him 40 minutes to Newtown (even though other ER vets were closer) because of the quality of care they provide. Jack was so incredibly kind and helpful during the process of picking out Apollos Urn and doctor Tara Fowler was an angel, she was so kind and respectful during the whole process. We were given time with our boy before his last moments and never once felt rushed. I could not recommend them enough. They provide true veterinary care. No judgement and they do not automatically go to euthanasia. They give every animal a chance to live if it is possible and within their best interest. Thank you for helping us through this incredibly difficult time.

  Worst experience of my life. Referred here for an ultrasound my vet just didn't know what was wrong with my dog. I was told it was going to be in the 500 dollar range. 2200 dollars later I was walking out the door. The girl that spoke to me just said yeah he most likely has cancer. Let me tell you folks, that is a devastating statement for me to hear, and you just blurt it out with no compassion what-so-ever. Then you want me to leave him there overnight so he can be more comfortable while we wait for test results to come back? You just want to add more money to the bill. Horrible place. Go someplace that actually cares about people and their pets. This place only cares about how many dollars they can get out of you.
