The vets at Newtown Veterinary Specialists really know their stuff. I have had one of my cats and one of my dogs there for eye issues and they knew exactly what was wrong and how to correct it. Dr. Crabtree and Dr Greenberg are top notch. I would recommend them highly.

Everyone at NVS is very nice and professional. I always feel that my pet is well cared for. I think, however, NVS should open a sister hospital in Newtown so that more patients can be seen in a timely manner.

on Saturday morning my Standard was panting very hard (a sign of stress) and was clearly in pain. We almost lost one poodle to bloat, and I know how quickly this becomes fatal. I went to Newtown Animal Emergency on the rec of my regular vet. The space is spotless and bright with thoughtful amenities provided for pet parents as they anxiously wait. My dog was taken immediately: bloat was not detected but she was in pain along her back. She received a shot and a medication to start on Everyone was friendly and patient and helped create a calm atmosphere. It was expensive but that is what you must expect at an emergency pet facility. I would recommend them without reservation

Compassionate care and triage on a busy Saturday evening. Our dog was the victim of a dog attack and was guarded due to the extent of his wounds but the staff acted swiftly and confidently with him. The wait was understandable due to high priority cases brought in. Thank you to everyone who helped patch up our Worf!

My boxer had to have an unexpected eye procedure. Amaris was extremely helpful when I called for the appointment, and Lisa was able to schedule her for the very next day for a consultation with Dr. Crabtree. It’s a two hour drive, so I was thrilled that Dr. Crabtree could do the procedure immediately. The doctor fully explained what she was doing and why and I highly recommend this practice.
