- AVApril VegaFeb 8, 20261.0the way this location of petco treats the fish is genuinely disgusting. i came in months ago to purchase a fish that died on the way home, i came in and the cashier literally laughed at me which is insane. i decided to come in again today to buy some fish food because it was the closest place i could go to buy it. i walk past the betta fish and saw a fish with a extremely dirty cup with literal DUST on it. I decided i couldn’t leave a living thing in such conditions so i bought it and took it home. you can just tell when you walk into this establishment that the aura is so off. DO NOT come here unless you want to leave feeling bad for all the animals that are mistreated in this store. It’s honestly better to take the 20 minute ride down the road to the brookfield location. EDIT: went back today the employee that laughed at me is named brandon, my friend was speaking to him asking about ferrets and he scoffed at her when she asked if they had any.

I left the store feeling really pleased with my experience, which is so not the case these days in most other stores! The Managers must be doing everything right because it was a really good vibe in the store and shopping experience overall.

As someone who values the proper care and understanding of pets, I'm so glad that there is staff that is knowledgeable like Will. Found what I needed quickly and he was very kind! Obviously I didn't get to meet everyone, but if the other staff of this store are at all like him, I will be coming back. Interactions with my cashier were also kind, attentive, and quick. Thanks so much!
