I do not understand why his diabetes is relevant, but really they could just make it clear on the booking site that diabetic dogs will not be accepted, or alternatively they could tell you right away that they won't groom the dog instead of waiting two weeks. I could have made an appointment elsewhere in that time. Worth noting that I have been getting my dog groomed (wash only - no other services) at another Petco for several years before I moved here and have never run into this problem.
