Today I went in to get meal worms for my bearded dragon with my 12 years old son has been interested in getting a hamster or gerbil. When I asked the lady at the front desk to just make one of the animals that are for sale visible so that my son could see it, she refused and said that unless I was purchasing today she wouldn’t do that. I am a life long pet owner and I know that all animals have their own personality, and I won’t commit to purchasing unless it is a good fit for our family. Quite rude and odd that she as unwilling to simply allow my son to view the animal, we didn’t even ask to hold it, just see it.
