The staff was dismissive and unhelpful when I tried to advocate for my dog’s wellbeing. I wasn’t offered any reasonable flexibility or solutions, and instead was met with a lot of resistance and upselling for things that didn’t make sense in the moment. Overall, it felt stressful and unwelcoming, and I wouldn’t trust them with my pet or recommend them to others.

When I showed them the text messages, a shrug and so when do you want to rebook? I drove my two dogs in from the Cape, 3 hours one way and arranged my schedule this week around this appointment. Rebook? Never. Mistakes happen. Own it. Fix it. Here? A shrug.

I have had several different dog breeds groomed there regularly and the service is always a 10! The staff in The Grooming Salon are so friendly and wonderful and do an amazing job. They are extremely knowledgeable in all things pertaining to the dogs coats and health. They always go above and beyond with suggestions and styles. Highly recommend!
