The vet asked me rudely to basically leave the line because my dog was barking.

Once I finally got to the Vets, they were great even with my skittish rescue dog who is afraid of most people. The check-in person, however, was not so nice. I missed seeing the information stating that I needed to bring documentation of the rabies vaccination (her tag wasn't sufficient) so I had to check my phone to see if the documentation was there. I didn't want to hold up the line, so I went to my car with my very nervous dog and looked up the documentation. I found it within a couple of minutes and went right back inside. One person was being checked-in and one other person was in line. I cut in front of them letting them know I had already been there, but had to get something from my car and they said it was okay. I had an appointment and initially I had gotten there more than the 10 minutes early as requested in the appointment registration online. Therefore, I had already been there for quite some time. When I got to the check-in person for the second time (still on time for my appointment BTW), he said I had to go back to the end of the line. I explained that I found the documentation needed (on my phone) and that the person waiting understood. He basically reprimanded me, told me I cut the line and said "once you leave you have go to to the end of the line." He was rude and condescending. Ultimately, he "allowed" me to stay and checked me in as he continued to reprimand me. It was humiliating. Horrible customer service. Also, no one in line was asked if they had an appointment or if they were walk-ins, so what was the point of making an appointment? With the exception of the five minutes it took for me to go to my car, find what I needed on my phone and go back in the store, it took an hour to get my dog the bordetella vaccine.
