  **Before & After Photos** We are over the moon with our experience with Olivia B!!! She groomed our labradoodle to absolute perfection. She delivered on every single thing we asked for, took her time, and was extremely thorough. She communicated with us throughout the appointment time and asked clarifying questions to make sure we got what we wanted. I am totally impressed with the professionalism of this groom and Guilford Petco as a whole. (Disclaimer: Poodle paws are controversial in their cuteness lol but let me just say her short paws make our lives of keeping her clean so much easier!)

  I had a very disappointing experience at this location today. I arrived on time for my dogs’ grooming appointment (12:55 PM for a 1:00 PM slot), but I forgot to bring the vaccination documents. I explained that my wife could stay at the store while I quickly drove home to get them, which would have taken less than 10 minutes. The staff immediately refused and said the only option was to reschedule—no flexibility, no attempt to help, and no understanding of the situation. What made it worse was the dismissive attitude. When I said I wouldn’t come back again, the response was simply “fine.” I understand policies are important, but customer service matters too. A little flexibility or even basic courtesy would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression.

  I go to my local PetCo because it’s in a convenient location. But I think I’ll skip next time and go to the other local store. Employees are never personable. No one ever acknowledges my dog. And I don’t expect people to come running to us, and make a fuss. But when I get to check out and my dog expects a cookie, because that’s what prior visits to other locations has conditioned him to think, I hope someone would at least give him a pat on the head and say hi. Also, store is overpriced. When I said I could probably get an item cheaper at chewy, the employee took the item off the counter, tossed it behind her and said “yeah, probably.” I thought petco price matched? It was never offered, and given the employees demeanor, I didn’t even ask. I’ll go to choice pet next time.

  Vetco happen fall of 2025 took my golden mal to get his last round of shots.....wore my trump hat and the vetco tec decide to be ruff with my pup when giving shoots an drawing blood to get a reaction out of him to tell me she won't continue to work with him unless he gets a muzzle ...probably to see my reaction knowing my pup didn't snap at any one her own assistant was confused when she said he almost bit ur face mind u i if he was he WILL NO ALMOST WITH A MALINOIS...but I staed calm put the muzzle on him to get it over with...when done my pup was scared shaking and ran out the door when done to get away from her ...so yea wanna put that out there
