We've been taking our dog to Suzi for about 2 years. Her strategy for dog training is to train your family to act like a wolf pack, you are the master of the dog(not a friend). that may work for some families and may be necessary for some dogs, however she has no understanding or flexibility for family dynamics.
Yesterday she told me I need to control my kids. I asked her not to use the word 'control' bc Id rather teach them, human beings should not be controlled. Rather than telling me she couldn't help me with my dog anymore bc of this, she tried to intimidate me by telling me "if my parents had controlled me as a child i wouldn't have beat so many people up" then she threw a fake punch toward my face and told me to get out and not come back. i don't think i was rude at all and it seemed an odd misunderstanding. she was obviously triggered. our payment for lifetime dog training is now not being honored.
Response: I've never had an issue with your training and I absolutely do listen to your suggestions. I accidently greeted my dog when he came in the room and he got excited, which obviously is not me being the master. My dog has had no change when it comes to being near a stranger and has been kicked out of every other boarder. you were the only one who would take him. what is wrong is that you THREATENED me and then aggressively kicked me out without a rational conversation. you yourself, follow canine psychology quite well. i felt like the runt of the pack. you have no understanding of what it takes to parent a large human family. and if my kids did such a good job listening why are you so angry about me not wanting to control them? the dog is not our number one concern. you were incredibly rude.

Suzi is amazing! She is straightforward about what you need to be doing when handling and interacting with your dog. She spends as much time as you need working on different skills and gives instant feedback on what needs to be done differently to get the appropriate response from your dog. We continue to work with Suzi and look forward to future group sessions as well.
