- EPEmma Padilla2 days ago1.0I came in to this Petco location, today (11/22). I came to look for Christmas sweaters for my dogs and to get some cat treats for my cats. I brought my two dogs in. We walked into the cat area and they had one cat that they had to adopt. I was walking towards the glass enclosure, one of the workers there rudely told me to not go over there because the cat does not like dogs. So I went down a different aisles so that my dogs would not cause stress to the cat. The woman who told me not to go over there, was watching/following me . I turned around and I asked her why are you falling me. I heard what you said. She said something under her breath, being disrespectful. I told her this is not good customer service. Well in there this lady had a rope around her dog’s neck and she grabbed her dog by the rope around her neck and pulled the dog. And started yelling at the dog. It was very uncomfortable, and the workers just watched as this lady did this. This visit was very unpleasant. I did talk to the manager about the incident with the coworker, and as I was trying to talk to her that worker was yelling and was interrupting the conversation, I was having with the manager. This not okay.

She said she has been working with the Gerbils so, they don’t get scared and get familiar with humans. Which is amazing!!! Giving me tips, as well! I recommend her if you are interested in adopting!!!!
- NDNoah DeepOct 20, 20252.0Signed up for a monthly "benefits" package. Not one word was said about how meager the benefits are and how you're on the hook for a YEAR. Can't cancel, can't pause. On top of that most of the benefits are forced through their app... Which sucks. If we weren't locked in until December I'd probably never shop there again.
