  We had a horrible experience with one of the Managers at this location after our dog was groomed there. We advised Finney who claimed to be the Manager that we had a major problem with our dog after grooming. We explained the issue in detail and she advised us to take our dog to the vet for treatment and they would cover the cost. We spent $1500 at the Vets office and got a letter from our vet identifying what happened to our dog after grooming. She gave us the wrong email on first contact and asked us to email the vets findings. We later called back and spoke to her to let her know we have the vets letter for them to consider, she then back tracked and then decided to argue about what happened to our dog and claimed that I threatened her as I was explaining what the outcome was. We asked her to have a GM call us and she hung up on us. We then called Petco Corporate and left a long detailed complaint with an operator and they said someone would be calling us within 72 hours. It’s been weeks and we haven’t heard from them. Unbelievable horrible customer service. Make sure you look to see where they keep your dog for 4 hours…. We had a scheduled appointment and our vet believes that the equipment they used was infected and spread some sort of disease.

  Did not know petco sold betta fishes, I hardly go to petco but more so petsmart and I’m very pleased that petco does sell bettas because the petsmart we went to was a graveyard of dead betta fishes will never go to petsmart after seeing that my daughters wanted a pet fish so we decided to go to petco closest to us and they just got done changing the water the fishes looked happy and alive we know nothing on how to properly care for the newest member of our family, however Justine and Tommy helped out with all the items needed made the whole experience better will definitely come back to this store where not only do they care for the animals they also care for the customers who want to take the animals home.

  I was feeing bad about doing an honest 1 star but after seeing the reviews for this store, it’s clear there are issues. I came here 2-3 times for crickets & every-time I am disgusted & horrified by how they treat their live bait & the diseases this may contract to customer’s pets. Urging this store to do better with their animal welfare care & additionally overall hiring process since the people working here now clearly don’t care about animal longevity.

  I’m writing this absolutely heartbroken. I came in knowing that age requirements can vary, but I was never made to feel like my age would be a definite barrier. During my visit, I bonded deeply with a kitten and was told by the staff member I spoke with that something could likely be worked out. I left feeling hopeful and believing there was a real chance I could adopt her. The next day, I received a call telling me I was denied because I’m not 21 yet even tho I’m 20 and already have gone through the cat adoption process. What made this so painful wasn’t just the decision — it was the emotional whiplash. I was given hope, allowed to bond, and then had it taken away. The phone call itself was handled with zero compassion. I was already incredibly upset, and the tone was cold and dismissive rather than understanding. Please don’t tell people something can “likely be worked out” if the answer is ultimately no. This experience left me devastated and feeling completely dismissed.
