While visiting family for the holiday, we recently stopped in the Petco on College Ave. in Fort Collins, and it was the best one so far for cleanliness, and friendly helpful staff. I told them the returns were because their fish were sick, as I've also bought fish from PetSmart and all of those are still alive. They refused to acknowledge this, saying we had made too many returns and that we were customers who didn't take good care of our fish, and that they couldn't sell us any more. We brought in a water sample, and the water was fine; the pH should be 7, and it was 7.5. They told us the water was bad, even though it was only slightly off, and that was their excuse. We were assisted by the manager, Jon, and Alex, who performed the water test, and they were very inconsiderate and refused to admit their mistake. The only person at Petco who treated us well was Mia; she was extremely kind, explained everything very clearly, and always wants what's best for the animals.
